Is God a Miracle Working God? See This Miracle Pregnancy!

As baseball season begins this week, a Triple-A pitcher for the Texas Rangers organization has much to celebrate. Jon Edwards underwent surgery to remove testicular cancer in December; one day later, his incredulous doctor had a good report.
Briefly on the mound for the Texas Rangers during pre-season, Edwards was reassigned to the Triple-A team this past weekend – though he’s not one to be down in the count. They share their story in an exclusive Bound4LIFE interview.

The Word of God says that ‘faith comes by hearing’ – it does not say that faith remains once it has come. You may have faith today for your healing, but that does not mean that you will have faith for healing tomorrow. We can never get away from the subject of faith. You always have to study it, because you always need faith. Once you get faith established in an area in your life, it is much easier to maintain that faith level. It’s hard to build a house initially; it’s easier to maintain it once it has been built. Let’s look at five questions that will help you build and maintain a vibrant faith life.

Healing is God’s divine intrusion into suffering humanity to let us know, “Yes, I understand the hurt, I understand the pain, I understand the money that you have spent trying to get well. I understand that there are many things that you would like to do for me, but yet are unable because your body won’t let you. I’m touched by the feeling of it all. But, I am not only touched by it, I’m going to do something about it. I’m going to extend my healing power and I’m going to do undo what Satan has done. I’m going to reverse this curse. And when I do, you’ll know that the kingdom of God has come unto you. Because in my kingdom, there is joy and peace.”
It is hard to be at peace when your body is hurting. It’s hard to have fullness of joy in the midst of an oppression that has come into your body. Here are some healing scriptures from the Bible. Meditate on them. Quote them out loud. Soak in the Word of God until you know in your spirit you are healed. Location is critical here. You have to know it in your spirit, not in your head. Many mentally subscribe to God’s will for healing. But, healing is spiritual not mental. You have know that you know that you know in your heart. Then, the manifestation comes. When you are ready to pray, there is a healing prayer at the bottom of this list of scriptures. Be healed in Jesus Name.

Marriage is a precious God ordained institution. The marriage bond mirrors the bond between Jesus and the church. We use the phrase ‘a marriage made in heaven’. The marriage institution does come from heaven. In each individual marriage, however, God gives the couple a “Do It Yourself Kit.” We are to work out marriages on earth. This “kit” consists of the teachings of the Bible about marriage . Follow these teachings and your marriage will flourish. Here are some rear view mirror musings on the subject. They come from thirty three years of walking the walk.

7.5 Million Americans Lost Their Religion since 2012

A new survey shows in stark relief that what some are calling the Great Decline of religion in America continues: Since 2012, the U.S. has about 7.5 million more Americans who are no longer active in religion.
1. More Americans prefer “no religion.”
When asked their religious preference, nearly 1 in 4 Americans now says “none.” Up until the 1990s, the percentage who were in this group known as “nones” hovered in the single digits. The 2014 GSS showed that nones are 23 percent of the population, up 3 points from 2012.
How large is this group? There are nearly as many Americans who claim no religion as there are Catholics (24 percent). If this growth continues, in a few years the largest “religion” in the U.S. may be no religion at all.

God always remembers His Word. He forever recalls His Covenant, and His promises. Anything that He ever said He would do for you personally, will come to pass in your life. The passage of time will never dull the promise He made to you. Anything the Lord specifically spoke in the stillness of your heart, is already done. The very existence of heaven and earth depend on it (Matt 24:35). Do you believe this? Not only does the Lord remember His promises there are other things He refuses to forget. He will not forget your faith toward Him.
Don’t say something permanently painful just because you are temporarily ticked off. – Karen Ehman
#030: What’s Communion Simply Defined [Podcast]
Communion is the most solemn and holy of the ordinances of the church. It is the sacred of the sacred. The holy of the holiest. But what does it mean? What do all the elements convey? A.W. Tozer had his opinion. He said “The communion table will not have ultimate meaning for us if we do not believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is literally present in the Body of Christ on earth.” . Today we are going to look at some of the Bible words surrounding this most revered ceremony. We are going to look at Communion in simplest terms.

We spent time getting to know some of the places we we would be seeing. It’s part of the fun of traveling. What about the place you travel to when you pray? What about the Throne of God? What do you know about God’s Throne? It is the place that everybody wants to go to when they hit heaven! How many plan pilgrimages to religious places on earth every year? The Throne of God is the most important place in the universe that you can possibly go to. What’s so outstanding about the Throne of God? It’s a massive place.
Memorizing Entire Books of the Bible
A few years before the war, a humble villager in eastern Poland received a Bible from an evangelist who visited his small hamlet. He read it, was converted, and passed the book on to others. Through that one Bible two hundred more became believers. When the evangelist, Michael Billester, revisited the town in the summer of 1940, the group gathered to worship and listen to his preaching. Billester suggested that instead of giving the customary testimonies they all recite verses of Scripture. Thereupon a man arose and asked, “Perhaps we have misunderstood. Did you mean verses or chapters?” “Do you mean to say there are people here who can recite chapters of the Bible?” asked Mr. Billester in astonishment. That was precisely the case. Those villagers had memorized not only chapters but entire books of the Bible. Thirteen knew Matthew and Luke and half of Genesis. One had committed all the Psalms to memory. Together, the two hundred knew virtually the entire Bible. Passed around from family to family and brought to the gathering on Sundays, the old Book had become so worn with use that its pages were hardly legible.

At roughly 11:05 PM on Christmas Eve, in the year 2001, while at work my wife Sharon suffered a brain aneurysm. You can find Sharon’s account of her anguishing life changing trial in this post “How God Miraculously Brought Me through A Brain Aneurysm.” This post is my version of that same day, the same ordeal, the same life changing distress. The same miraculous deliverance.
