In 1Cor. 12:6, Paul gives the church a list of nine extraordinary manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Many questions have arisen about what these manifestations are. One of the most misunderstood manifestations is the gift of prophecy. What is it exactly and how we can tap into it in our everyday life? What is the secret to unlocking our understanding of this gift? Let’s take a look.

God in the Flesh
Question: “Would it be possible to discuss God’s manifestation into flesh, and the triune God. I’m confused, or misled in my understanding. Essentially, some say God was Jesus all the time; yet, others he is the son and his father.” – Mary Gentry

Psychological studies establish that by age five a child has formed a fairly definite impression of himself. The same studies reveal that self-esteem is not closely related to social position, family work background, education or any combination of such factors. A young child sees himself from the reflections of those close to him, mainly his parents. How they react to his activities largely determines the self image he builds . Having a wrong self-image can absolutely hinder God’s plan for your life. How can we identify and change a negative self-image?

The Bible is saturated with miracles. It doesn’t matter where you look, in the New Testament or the Old, the Bible is brimming with them. It is a common thought in this day in this age that miracles no longer occur, that they was just for Bible times, but I can assure you that there are miracles, displays of healing and Holy Spirit manifestations happening in countries across the globe today. For instance in China, half of the salvations that occur are direct results of a healing miracle. The gifts of the Spirit are manifesting, and learning how He moves will help you to flow with Him in these last days.

Years ago when the western U.S. was being settled, roads were often just wagon tracks. (The wagon wheels would just carve out a rut in the road.) These rough trails or ruts posed serious problems for those who journeyed on them. On one of these winding paths was posted a sign which read: “Avoid this rut or you’ll be in it for the next 25 miles!” You can go to sleep in the wagon and not worry about getting off course because the only place you are going is wherever the ‘rut’ is. This picture is what a habit is like. A habit is something you can do without thinking. But habits always takes you someplace. As a believer in Jesus, there are good God habits that we can acquire.

Believers in Jesus are people of multiple realms and multiple dimensions. We walk in the dimensions of faith, hope and love. We live in the seen realm of today; we look at the unseen realm of tomorrow. We are people of the spiritual realm. And, we are people of the natural realm. With our spirits we contact God, the Creator of the Universe. With our bodies, we take out the trash! How does one live a balanced two dimensional life?

There have always been two age groups that have brought a great amount of joy and cheer to my life, children and the elderly. The post today is about the latter. There is something about growing older in Jesus that absolutely gets me excited. There is something about getting closer to heaven that just thrills my heart. Aging in Him is a good God thing. It sure beats the alternative.

Receiving Jesus is the key in order to live in the eternal with God. Why is it needful? Why is it necessary? ‘Necessary’, is a word that can cause a reaction in some people. The word implies ‘a have to’ or an imperative obligation. This causes resistance especially in those who believe that there are other roads to God. Some, for example, believe that possessing high morality is the road to heaven while others believe that all religions lead there if one is sincere and true to ones convictions. Is this true? Do all roads lead to God? Much hangs in the balance here which is why the word ‘necessary’ takes on critical status. Why is it necessary to receive Jesus? Why don’t all roads lead to heaven? If you type the words ‘things that are necessary’ into a Google search bar, one of the first hits you will come to is ‘three things that are necessary for life on earth’. But what about things that are necessary to live life in heaven with God?

Many times we are tempted to bug God about changing things in our lives and we pray over and over again but I want you to know today and understand how faith works – faith is a rest – you don’t have to worry; you don’t have to fret because God wants you to know that He has Already heard you and though the manifestation seems to be NOT YET, I am here to prophesy to you today that God is going to change your NOT YET to IT’S HERE because with Him it’s ALREADY!

“Who is Jesus?” is the question of the ages. As far as going to heaven is concerned, there are many things that have no bearing. It does not matter what tribe you may come from. There are only three in God’s sight anyway; Jew, Gentile and the church of God. It does not matter what your church affiliation is. You can be any flavor of church or denomination you care to be. Your social status has no bearing. Whether you are an outlaw, an outcast or a heretic to your circle is no consequence to God the Father. Your political views have no bearing on your standing with heaven. Your economic status has no influence to the God own owns everything and is the Creator of all. The only thing that matters is your answer to this question, Who is Jesus to you? God the Father wants to know; all of heaven is waiting to know, “What are you going to do with Jesus, who is called, the Christ?”

Everyone in the world today is looking for happiness. We all want to be glad and pleased with our current circumstances. It is amazing that we seem to think that we have to work for it so diligently. Consider that children, on average laugh 400x per day while the average adult laughs only 15x per day . Maybe we need to become more childlike in our outlook? Jesus mentioned this when He said in Matt. 18:3 that we are to receive the Kingdom of God as little children. Believers in Jesus are supposed to receive the things of God, the Word of God with childlike faith and wonder. As Jeremiah the prophet stated, “Your words were found, and I did eat them; and your word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by your name, O Lord God of hosts (Jer. 15:16).” Today, we are going to look briefly at two Bible words that, when embraced and ‘eaten’ will cause your heart to be full of joy and rejoicing.

The more we align with God’s Word the more efficiently things work. They do not work as well the less you are in line with His Word. The church would get better results, you as an individual believer would get better results, the more you line up with God’s plan, God’s thoughts, and God’s ways. God’s way is the leadership of the Spirit in one’s life. The more you flow with the Holy Spirit, the less you try to do things on your own, the more efficiently things work. But there is a problem that has developed in America that is blocking the flow.
