We are the proud parents of four beautiful children and five wonderfully, exceptional grandchildren.

On December 24th, 2001, while working as a home health aide, my head exploded. This is my journey. This is how I survived the black hole I fell into on that fateful night. This is how the Lord, by His great power and outstretched arm, allowed me to survive the most cataclysmic of traumas. This is my story.

About Me

I committed my life to the Lord Jesus Christ over 38 years ago and have served as both a full-time pastor and an itinerant minister. My wife of 33 years, Sharon, and I emphasize personal growth and development through the Word of God. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is both the focus and the hallmark of our mission.

My personal blog is focused on teaching practical truths from the Bible on everyday living. My mission is to equip people to grow in their relationship with Jesus as they walk out God’s will for their life. As a result, I write on encountering Jesus, the Holy Spirit, realities of the new birth, spiritual development or growth, and discipleship. Additionally for the end result of equipping people, I am developing a running commentary on the New Testament called The Bridge. About Jesus

In 1John 1:1, John's testimony is a simple one. Jesus is not an illusion - 'we saw Him'. He is not a figment of our imagination, - 'we touched Him'. He is not a fairy tale – 'we heard Him'.

You can know Jesus!

John 17:3 states here that knowing Him, continually encountering Him, continually experiencing His presence is eternal life.

Encountering means meeting Him face to face; it means coming into contact with Him; it means He crossed your path, He bumped into you during your day.

The heart of man hungers for 'encounter'.

People want that – you want that! You want God showing up in your living room, you want Him to show up at your workplace. You surely want Him to show up in your church!
